Leptomona heydeni (Joannis, 1865)
Distribution. Described from Egypt. Reported from Yemen by MEDVEDEV (1996).
Comments. Generic position of this species is unclear. In the Catalogue of Palearctic Coleoptera, BEENEN (2010) followed opinions by BECHYNĚ (1958) and WILCOX (1973) who both classified it in the genus Leptomona Bechyně, 1958 . SCHLICH & WAGNER (2010) excluded it from the genus Monolepta with a notice that the correct generic placement will be published later.
