Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the Monaro region of New South Wales.

Diagnosis. CL 5.85–7.22 (male). Small atracine spiders sometimes rather wide. Embolus weakly to moderately without leg II apophyses. Differs from most Hadronyche offset from tegulum.
