Tetraloides heterodactyla ( Heller, 1861) View in CoL
Tetralia heterodactyla Heller, 1861: 14 View in CoL .
Tetralia pubescens Klunzinger, 1913: 316 View in CoL , pl. 7, fig. 15. Tetralia nigrifrons View in CoL forma fusca Serène & Dat, 1957: 290 View in CoL . Tetralia nigrifrons View in CoL forma cyanea Serène & Dat, 1957: 116.
Remarks. Tetralia nigrifrons forma cyanea Serène & Dat, 1957 (type locality Vietnam), is almost certainly identical with Tetraloides heterodactyla Heller, 1861 . Serène & Dat (1957) described the taxon as having bright blue spots on the ambulatory legs ("... le vif de ses taches bleues sur les péreiopodes)", a diagnostic characterisation of live or freshly preserved specimens ( Castro 1997b: 46). The type material (a female lectotype and a female paralectotype, NMV 11a) is in the Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna.
