Distribution: N Australia; New Guinea.
Conservation: IUCN 2003 – Not evaluated; not considered in IUCN / SSC Action Plan (2001).
Discussion: norfolkensis species group. Formerly included in planiceps , but see Flannery (1995 a) and Bonaccorso (1998). Also see Hill (1961 b) and Koopman (1984 c). This complex may include at least two undescribed species; see Menkhorst and Knight (2001).
