Status at New Ireland. New record, based on underwater observation at Lissenung Island by Dietmar Amon. Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Circumglobal in warm temperate and tropical seas. Found on continental and insular shelves, 0–80 m depth. Marine.
