Distribution. Nicaragua to Panama.

Cerro Campana, female, 10–20.V. 1981, J. E. Wappes col. ( ACMT). Cerro Jefe ( 2200 ft.), female, 25.V – 1.VI. 1992, J. E. Wappes col. ( ACMT). 10 km E Canita, female, 29.VI. 1997, Wappes & Huether col. ( MNRJ). 5 km W Ipeti, female, 3.VI. 1983, J. E. Wappes col. ( ACMT).

Comments. Described in Nyssodrys in the text and in Lepturges in the legend of the plate. The presence of a minute acute tubercle on the posterior angle of the prothorax justifies the transfer of this species to Lepturges .
