Distribution. Nicaragua to Panama.

Cerro Campana, female, 10–20.V.1981, J. E. Wappes col. (ACMT). Cerro Jefe (2200 ft.), female, 25.V–1.VI.1992, J. E. Wappes col. (ACMT). 10 km E Canita, female, 29.VI.1997, Wappes & Huether col. (MNRJ). 5 km W Ipeti, female, 3.VI.1983, J. E. Wappes col. (ACMT).

Comments. Described in Nyssodrys in the text and in Lepturges in the legend of the plate. The presence of a minute acute tubercle on the posterior angle of the prothorax justifies the transfer of this species to Lepturges .
