Type species:— Mennerius morosus Luljeva, 1967: 97 , by original designation.

Diagnosis:—‘Bell-shaped’ to cylindrical nannoliths with body consisting of one or more tiers of vertically elongated plates and rounded or somewhat pointed apical cone. One or more apical spines often also present. Cross section of body round to polygonal.
