Bradyporus (Callimenus) picurka View in CoL sp. n.: Garai-Gyulai & Ünal 2014: 275.
Type locality. Iran: 12 km E. of Mahabad. Holotype male nymph ( HNHM).
Material examined. Iran: Azerbaygan-e Garbi, 12 km E of Mahabad, 36.51.13 N, 45.35.12 E, 1600 m, 26.4.2001, 1 male, 1 female (paratypes) (leg. Gy. Fábián & K. Vig) (AİBÜEM) ( Garai & Ünal 2014).
Distribution. ( Fig. 195 View FIGURE 195 ). Known only from the type locality. Iran, Azerbaygan-e Garbi province, Mahabad ( Garai & Ünal 2014).
Measurements (mm). Length of body: male 29–36, female 32–38.2; pronotum: male 12–13.5, female 11.5– 12.5; hind femur: male 15–17.5, female 16–18; ovipositor: 12–14 (Garai-Gyulai & Ünal 2014).
Remarks. This species was described by Garai-Gyulai & Ünal (2014) after 5 males and 4 females. I noticed when I had received a couple of paratypes that are in the last nymphal instar. That the remaining type series including the holotype are all nymphs has been confirmed by Adrienne Garai-Gyulai (pers. commun.). Under the circumstances this species should be compared with the nymphal instars of the nearest species B. latipes which is distributed simpatrically ( Fig. 195 View FIGURE 195 ). Actually I have seen some nymphs of B. latipes in the collections and they listed here. But I did not pay attention enough to them since I was unaware that time about the nymphal stage of this species. Titillators of the type serie of B. picurka are sclerotized like adults. The structure of tegmina, fully concealed under pronotum which is the most clear evidence of its nymphal stage. It is not impossible to be of the same taxon as B. latipes , but a further comparative study of the male genitalia of nymphs of B. latipes is needed.
