Distribution. Transeurasiatic, subboreal. Throughout the Russian territory from Kaliningradskaya Oblast to Primorye, except the Extreme North. Outside Russia: Europe, N Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, Korea.

Hostplants: Betula , Alnus , Salix , Prunus , Malus , Crataegus , Vaccinium myrtillus ( Beljaev 2016) . I also found a pupa on the leaves of Ulmus davidiana var. japonica in Buryatia.
