The specimens collected from Kenia, Fiji Islands, South Africa and the Caribbean Sea are illustrated in Witkowski et al. (2000). It is rarely epiphytic in the pseudo-lagoons of the Seogwipo coast in Jeju Island, represents a new record for South Korea.
