Stems up to 120 cm, with many slender spreading branches. Leaves coriaceous, linear-lanceolate, with a single mid-vein; lateral veins obscure or absent. Bracts similar to upper cauline leaves, persistent. Perianth 3- partite. Drupe 5-7 mm, red. 5. Europe. Al BI Bu Co Cr Ga Gr Hs It Ju Lu Sa Si Tu.
