More or less procumbent annual up to c. 20 cm. Leaves narrowly oblong, subterete, obtuse, glaucous and slightly crystalline-papillose. Flowers terminal and axillary, solitary, subsessile. Petals shorter than sepals, yellowish or white. Maritime sands and salt-marshes. Mediterranean region extending to C. Portugal. BI Co Cr Ga Gr Hs It Ju Lu Sa Si [Az].
