Prionyx globosus (F. SMITH 1856) View in CoL 3, 1 (compared with det. Kohl, NHMW)
A u s t r a l i a:3, 1, Coopers Creek Expedition, 19.IX.1949, leg. Paramonov.
Prionyx indus (LINNAEUS 1758) 1 1, (compared with P. englebegi (syn.) det. Kohl, NHMW)
N o t e: In the key of ARNOLD 1928: 342 to the females there is a mistake: 11 (12) running to P. tyrannum SMITH (which is a synonym if P. indus ) the second line reads as follows: "Clypeus not excised in the middle". This is wrong as pointed out in the text and fig. 7 at p. 357. There ARNOLD writes: " The anterior margin of Clypeus is moderately convex and with a small excision in the middle".
