Other distribution: Federated States of Micronesia (Pohnpei Is.), India (Bengal), Indonesia (Java), Malaysia (E. and W.), Myanmar. (4)

Biology: A polyphagous species ( Browne 1961 a, Beaver & Browne 1979). The gallery system has a radial tunnel leading to a large, elongate brood chamber. Brood size may exceed 50 individuals ( Browne 1961a).
