Diuncus mucronatus (Eggers) : Hulcr & Cognato, 2009: 34 View Cited Treatment .
Thai distribution: S: Surat Thani. The specimen from Chiang Mai recorded by Beaver and Browne (1975) was misdetermined, and should be referred to D. haberkorni View in CoL . Hence the species is correctly recorded here for the first time from Thailand.
New records: Surat Thani, Ratchaprapa reservoir, ex cut liane, 24.ii.2012 ( R. A. Beaver) (2) .
Other distribution: Indonesia (Java), Japan, Malaysia (E. & W.), New Guinea, Philippines. (3)
Biology: Polyphagous ( Browne 1961a). The gallery system of this species may include brood chambers ( Browne 1961a).
