4. Myrmica fuscipennis View in CoL   HNS .

M. ferruginea; capite thoraceque profunde punctatis; alis nigro-fuscis.

Female. Length 3 lines. Ferruginous, the head and thorax covered with large oblong punctures, the punctures occasionally confluent; the mandibles finely striated longitudinally, their inner margin furnished with a row of small black teeth; the joints of the antennae, except the three apical ones, transverse; the apical joint longest, but not forming a club. Thorax, the metathorax with two short acute teeth; wings dark fuscous. Abdomen very smooth and shining, and much paler than the head and thorax.
