Material examined. 2 ♀♀ ( CASC): / CASENT 8135408 / Madagascar: Toliara Province Forêt Classée d’Analavelona, 33.2 km 344° NNW Mahaboboka elev. 1300 m 22-26 Feb. 2003 / 22° 38’ 34” S 044° 10’ 16” E coll. Fisher, Griswold et al. California Acad. of Sciences sifted litter in montane rainforest collection code: BLF7916 /.

Possibly a new species, belonging to the scabrosus group of species, closely resembling G. similis sp. nov. and G. litoralis sp. nov..
