Description of Roseateles terrae View in CoL JF-5

Cells are Gram-staining-negative, flagellated, non-pigmented and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, flat and white-colored after 2 days of incubation on R2A at 25°C. Positive for cytochrome oxidase, β -galactosidase and gelatinase, but negative for arginine dihydrolase, esculin hydrolysis, glucose fermentation, indole production, nitrates reduction and urease in API 20NE test. D-Glucose, L-arabinose, D-mannose, D-mannitol, Dmaltose and potassium gluconate are utilized. Strain JF-5 (= NIBRBAC000498046) has been isolated from fresh water sample, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, Korea.
