Crocidium pterostictum Hesse, 1938 (Fig. 17)

Crocidium pterostictum Hesse 1938: 789 , 795­797; Hesse, 1963: 289; Hull, 1973: 185; Bowden, 1980: 399; Evenhuis & Greathead, 1999: 217.

Spermathecae: spermathecae globose with longitudinal axis equivalent to the length of sperm pump; spermathecal ducts 10 times longer than sperm pump, uniting to form a short common spermathecal duct; sperm pump placed at nearly apical 1/5 of the spermathecal duct; sclerotized collars of sperm pumps smaller on apical ends than on basal ones. (Fig. 17).
