Male genitalia: gonocoxa elongated; distiphallus short, not surpassing apex of posterior process of gonocoxa; lateral aedeagal apodeme surpassing gonocoxal margins; gonostylus flattened, hook shaped, with a posterior projection on upper 1/3 ( Fig. 1 ).

Spermathecae: spermathecae globose with longitudinal axis equivalent to ½ of sperm pump length; spermathecal ducts 7.5 times longer than sperm pump, uniting to form a short common spermathecal duct; sperm pump placed at nearly basal 1/4 of the spermathecal duct; sclerotized collars of sperm pumps smaller on basal ends than on apical ones ( Fig. 2 ).

Material examined: Paratype: South Africa. Northern Cape: Namaqualand (Knersvlakte), 1 male, Sep. 1941, (collector unknown). Deposited in the South African Museum, Cape Town, South Africa. Non types: South Africa. Western Cape: Strandfontein (Groot­ Sandleegte), 1 male (dissected), 10­12 Oct. 1977, R. M. Miller; Richtersveld (7 km S Lekkersing), 300m (29°03’30’’S. 17°06’00’’E.), 2 females (one dissected), 2 Sep. 1989, J. Londt, B. Stuckenberg & P. Croeser. Northern Cape: Garies (10 km E), 1 female, 6 Sep. 1983, Stuckenberg & Londt. Deposited in the Natal Museum, Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.
