Type Locality: Gambia, possibly near Ft. St. Mary. "...brought from the Gambia..." "Through... Mr. Rendall, who has lately arrived from the Gambia, where his brother is lieutenent-governor of Fort St. Mary and the other British possessions in that neighbourhood..." .
