Remarks. Not a new record. Following Hartman (1959), until recently the only recognized species of was Pomatostegus stellatus , thought to occur circumtropical. Ten Hove and Kupriyanova (2009) distinguished 3 species with a more restricted distribution. Herein we correct Mak’s identification to that of the Indo-West Pacific taxon.
