Lectotype (Humphries in Bot. J. Linn. Soc. 76: 342. 1978): Herb. Linn. No. 100.6 ( LINN) .

Current name: Taeniatherum caput-medusae (L.) Nevski subsp. caput-medusae View in CoL ( Poaceae ).

Note: Although Humphries indicated the type sheet as “106.6”, it seems clear that this was simply a typographical error for “100.6”.
