Diagnosis of male. Hypopygium basally without sharp differences between sclerotized and unsclerotized parts (Figs 16–19); median carina of hypopygium (lateral view) straight (Fig. 19) or weakly convex (Fig. 17); lower part of face with brownish pubescence; 2r-m vein of fore wing almost straight (Fig. 60); hind wing as in Fig. 61; volsella apically (ventral view) with 7–10 long strong setae (Figs 27, 33); T1, T2 and sometime basal half of T3 ferruginous-red.
Diagnosis of female. Protarsomere 1 with four spines of tarsal comb; fore and hind wings as in Figs 58, 69, 67; T1 and basal half of T2 usually ferruginous-red.
Redescription of holotype (female). Body length 11.1 mm. Fore wing length 9.5 mm. Head width 1.3 × its height. Frons weakly evenly convex with hardly visible median longitudinal line. Eye median width 0.65 × half of frons width (frontal view). Ocelli small, POD: OOD 0.8 ×. Ratio of genal median length to eye median length (lateral view) 0.6 ×. Malar space (minimum value) 0.2 × pedicel width. Clypeus weakly longitudinally convex with straight weakly carinated anterior border. Flagellomere 1 length 4.2 × its width, flagellomere 8 length 3.0 × its width. Relation of scape, pedicel and two first flagellomeres 47: 15: 80: 54. Mesosoma length dorsally 1.5 × its width. Pronotum median length 0.3 × its width, posterior pronotal border angulate. Metanotum median length 4.6 × metapostnotum median length. Metapostnotum with transversal striate. Propodeum evenly convex, its median length 0.85 × maximum width. Tarsal comb of fore tarsus well developed, tarsomere 1 with four spines, tarsomeres 2 and 3 with two spines, tarsomere 4 with one spine, tarsomere 5 without spine; apical spine length of tarsomere 1 0.8 × tarsomere 2 length, apical spine of tarsomere 2 almost equal tarsomere 3 length, and apical spine of tarsomere 3 not touching the apex of tarsomere 4; tarsomere 5 (ventrally) with three median spicules and one lateral from each side. Longer spur of mid tibia 0.7 × tarsomere 1 length; longer spur of hind tibia 0.6 × tarsomere 1 length. Claws symmetrical with additional inner small tooth. Fore wing brownish infuscated with darker apical portion, venation as in Fig. 58.
Body with dark brownish setae. Ventral side of scape with a few long erect setae. Clypeus with scattered long setae and a few coarser long setae. Mandibles with tree very long coarser setae and a few softer one. Frons and supraclypeal area with long dense erect setae. Vertex, gena, propleura, fore coxa, propodeum laterally and posteriorly with very long dense erect setae. Pronotum, mesopleuron, mid coxae, S6 with scattered long erect setae. Mesoscutum, femora, T6 with sparse erect setae. Scutellum disc with six long erect setae. T1 baso-laterally with softer pale brownish long erect setae. Head, mesosoma and legs with iridescent brownish pubescence. Metasoma with weakly silver pubescence. Body regularly micropunctate. Body black, legs dark brownish. T1 (except basal part), T2 (except apical part) ferruginous-red. Mandibles dark brownish with reddish median portion.
Variability. Metasoma black with T1 (except basal portion) and T2 (except apical portion) ferruginous-red in both sexes, sometimes T3 basally of male also ferruginous-red. Metapostnotum median length of female 0.2–0.6 × metanotum median length (dorsal view), sometimes metanotum swollen and protruded over metapostnotum. Forth abscissa of R in fore wing of female 0.6–0.9 × second and third abscissa of R, combined together.

Distribution. Russia (Chita Prov., Buryatia, Irkutsk Prov., *Tyva, *Altai Terr.); Mongolia, China (Gansu), South-East Kazakhstan) ( Wolf 2005), Turkey ( Özbek et al. 2000).
Remarks. For a long time this species was misinterpretied, and the redescription of holotype is given above. In spite of variability of female metapostnotum and ratio of fourth abscissa R to second and third abscissa of R, combined together, other characters remain stable in the studied material (71 Ƥ). The males (76 3) are more stable including hypopygium and genitalia; a few specimens have metasomal tergum 3 basally ferruginous-red.
