Xantholinus (Xantholinus) linearis ( Olivier, 1795) View in CoL

Comment. There is only one very old Turkish record of X. linearis from the surroundings of Tarsus (Mersin) by Peyron (1858). In view of the complete absence of recent records, there is little doubt that it is based on a misidentification. The species is here deleted from the list of Turkish Staphylinidae .
