Body length 5.6 mm, fore wing length 4.0 mm and antenna length 6.0 mm.
Antenna with 51 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere acuminate. Medan flagellomeres approximately 1.5 x longer than wide. Frons with curved ridges converging medially from antennal sockets to dinsting midlongitudinal ridge. Occipital carina complete and rounded mediodorsally, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron and mesosternum shiny with moderately dense punctures at the bases of setae, precoxal sulcus deep and narrow, foveate, specular area not differentiated. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina present on anterior 0.6 of propodeum, absent posteriorly. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.6 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.2 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.9 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.2 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.1 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell glabrous on anterior half. Hind wing vein m-cu absent. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified setae medially. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of first tergite large, angularly protruding and concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergite absent.
Antenna brown yellow basally becoming black gradually, flagellomeres 37–50 (♂) white [♀ unknown].
Etymology. From ‘molecular’ and ‘cryptus’ in reference to the cryptic nature of the species only distinguishable thus far based on molecular data.
