Body length 4.5 mm, fore wing length 4.0 mm and antenna length 5.5 mm.
Antenna with 45 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere strongly acuminate. Median flagellomeres 1.7 x longer than wide. Occipital carina produced anteriorly near the middle, broadly obliterated medially, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, procoxal sulcus broadly weakly impressed with confused rugulose sculpture, speculum absent. Midlongitudinal propodeal carina complete. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.3 x 1- CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.35 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 1.1 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.1 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.65 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu indicated by faint brown mark, intersitial. Apex of hind tibia with a comb of specialised apdressed setae medially and ventrally between spurs. Claws with pecten of 7 or 8 long, fine, pale brown teeth on basal lobe, these splaying and distinctly separated, and the penultimate ones longest. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite angularly produced, concave posteriorly. Midlongitudinal carina of 3 rd tergie distinct on anterior 0.6.
Etymology. Named after the character Mort in the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels.
