Body length 5.7 mm, fore wing length 5 mm and antenna length 7.0 mm.

Antenna with 52 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed. Median flagellomeres ather oblique, approximately 1.5 x longer laterally than wide. Frons with subtransverse, weakly curved striation behind antennal sockets, medially irregularly rugose in front of anterior ocellus. Occipital carina complete, dorsally rounded, ventrally slightly reduced but joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron shiny with punctures, longitudianally striate dorsally, precoxal sulcus ovoid, moderately deep with 3 strong versical striae. Propodeum relatively long and shallow, with midlongitudinal carina distinct on anterior 0.75 (though somewhat irregular posteriorly), with more or less straight lateral carina. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 2 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Fore wing vein 3-SR 2.1 x vein r. Fore wing vein 2-SR+M 0.85 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.5 x vein 3-SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.2 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell glabrous on anterior half.

Hind wing vein m-cu represented by a weak brown mark, antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified adpressed setae. Claws without conspicuous pecten. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite large, rounded anteriorly, strongly concave posteriorly.

Antennae brown yellow basally gradually becoming black, flagellomeres 29–37 white.

Etymology. In reference to the nearly complete midlongitudinal carina of the propodeum which distinguishes this species from other members of the A. coronarius group.
