Holotype ♀, Thailand, Chiang Mai, Doi Chiang Dao WS Pha Tang unit, 30.ix–7.x.2007, 19° 24.978' N, 98° 54.886' E, 526m, Malaise trap, Songkran & Apichart (collection code T3177) ( QSBG). GoogleMaps

Body length 4.4 mm, fore wing length 3.8 mm and antenna length 6.0 mm.
Antenna with 41 flagellomeres. Terminal flagellomere pointed, slightly acuminate. Median flagellomeres 1.7 x longer than wide. Occipital carina strong and complete mediodorsally, ventrally joining hypostomal carina. Mesopleuron largely aciculate, anterodorsally rugulose, precoxal sulcus weakly impressed, rugulose, speculum small. Propodeum with complete midlongitudinal carina. Fore wing vein 2-CU1 1.2 x 1-CU1. Apex of fore wing subbasal cell with well developed lozenge-shaped glabrous area. Fore wing vein 3-SR 1.75 x vein r. Fore wing vein SR1 2.7 x vein 3- SR. Hind wing vein M+CU 1.5 x 1-M. Hind wing subbasal cell evenly setose. Hind wing vein m-cu represented by a weak pigmented line, slightly antefurcal. Apex of hind tibia without comb of modified setae medially. Claws rather elongate and strongly hooked, with strong pecten of diverging setae. Basal lobes of 1 st tergite moderately produced, anteriorly convex, posteriorly concave. Midlongitudinal carina of of 3 rd tergite distinct on anterior 0.5.
Etymology. Named because of he distinctly transverse hind wing vein 2-SC+R.
