Remarks.

Felixaraea rennensis was only illustrated but not described by Alloiteau (1952, 1957). Illustrations alone do not constitute a valid first description of a species. Beauvais (1982) was the first to describe and illustrate the species.

Other occurrences.

Coniacian to Santonian of the Central Tethys ( Austria), upper Santonian to middle Campanian of the Western Tethys ( France, Spain).
