Most important morphological characters:
Robust plant with oblanceolate to rhomboidally lanceolate, sessile or subsessile, irregularly toothed (6–9 teeth) or sometimes even lobed cauline leaves. Most developed basal cycle leaves robust with angle 50–130° of leaf base, with at least one leaf with whole blade and at least one – with 3-lobed leaf blade with wide, non-overlapped and deeply lobed lateral segments. Flowers with completely developed petals. Species resembling R. antigohyllus , from which differs by significantly bigger, most developed basal leaves with whole, unlobed leaf blade.
Distribution and ecology in Latvia: Occurs rarely and unequally in Latvia, mostly in central part – in different habitats – natural alluvial forests, different contact zones – roadsides, ditches and other habitats.
