L. exiguum, capitulis nigris lucidis, etc., as Jungermannia pusilla (OXF).
Current name: Fossombronia pusilla (L.) Nees ( Codoniaceae ).
Note: See Stotler & Crandall-Stotler (in J. Bryol. 27: 71-73. 2005) who provide a detailed analysis of the typification of this name, reproducing the protologue (f. 1A) and, like Isoviita, treat the Dillenius plate (illustrated as f. 1C) as the lectotype. They also designate an epitype from the Dillenian herbarium, illustrating it (f. 1D, E) and reproducing an SEM image of a spore taken from it.
