Neoheegeria persica Priesner View in CoL
Neoheegeria persica Priesner, 1954: 54 View in CoL .
This species was described from a single female collected on Prangos ferulacea [ Apiaceae View in CoL ] in Iran. Subsequently, Minaei et al. (2007) collected this species from various plants including Astragalus View in CoL sp. and Phlomis View in CoL sp. More recently, a series of both sexes was collected from Mentha pulegium View in CoL [ Lamiaceae ] at Sepidan (Fars province). The only difference between persica View in CoL and dalmatica View in CoL is the color of antennal segments III–VI. The fustis in the ninth abdominal segment was reported in persica View in CoL to be unusually elongate (Minaei et al. 2007), but this is not confirmed by the specimens collected recently on Mentha pulegium View in CoL .
