DISTRIBUTION: Sri Lanka and India through S.E. Asia and East Indies to Philippines, New Guinea, Solomon Isis, and N. Queensland ( Australia); Santa Cruz Isis.; New Hebrides.
COMMENT: Includes cervinus and longicauda ; see Hill, 1963, Bull. Br. Mus. (Nat. Hist.) Zool., 11:56.
