Host-plants. Convolvulus arvensis L. in the Crimea; in other regions also C. althaeoides L. and Calystegia sepium (L.) R. Br.
Type of distribution (chorological group). West-Palaearctic; the species occurs from North Africa and Spain to central European Russia and Tajikistan.
Material examined. CRIMEA: 3♀, 12 km E Sudak, Sonyachna Dolyna, empty leaf-mines on Convolvulus arvensis L., fieldwork card no. 5015, 17.vii.2011, leg. A. Diškus & A. Navickaitė, genitalia slide nos AN529♀, AN530♀, AN531♀; 50 km SE Feodosiya, Sudak, empty leaf-mines on Convolvulus arvensis L., fieldwork card no. 5015, 07.viii.2011, leg. J. R. Stonis, A. Navickaitė & G. Varačinskas.
Remarks. The species is not rare in the Crimea: limited in distribution but abundant.
