Host-plant. Unknown. Probably Prunus spp. (incl. P. spinosa L.).
Type of distribution (chorological group). West-Palaearctic; the species occurs from Spain and Italy to Greece, Crimea, Slovakia, Armenia, and Turkmenistan.
Material examined. CRIMEA: 1♂, 20 km SW Feodosiya, Karadag Reserve, at light, 15.vii.1987, leg. Yu. Budashkin, genitalia slide no. AN217; 2♂, the same locality, at light, 22.vii.1987, leg. R. Puplesis, genitalia slide nos AN 210♂, AN 213♂; 1♂, the same locality, at light, 11.vii.1988, leg. R. Puplesis, genitalia slide no. RA 261♂; 1♂, 12–26.viii.2009, leg. A. Remeikis & J. R. Remarks. The species is common in the Crimea: widespread and very abundant (no mines, collected only at light).
