AGE AND LOCATION OF TYPE MATERIAL. — Lower Ordovician, Cow Head Group, western Newfoundland.
TAXON CODE. — 064.
STATUS. — Valid.
DIAGNOSIS. — “Protoentactiniid internal structure and a meshed or spongy spherical shell wall.” ( Won et al. 2007a: 531).
