Dasyhelea traverae Thomsen, 1935: 285 View in CoL (New York); Waugh and Wirth 1976: 231 (revision of eastern USA Dasyhelea View in CoL ); Borkent and Grogan 2009: 11 (in Nearctic catalog; distribution).

Discussion. Wilkening et al. (1985) did not list this eastern species from Florida. Subsequently, Porch et al. (1992) reported two specimens taken from sundews in Santa Rosa and Walton counties, and these are the only records of this species from Florida that we relist below.

New records. Santa Rosa Co., 19 Oct. 1987, S. S. Porch, ex. Drosera sp. , 1 female (AUCI). Walton Co., 13 Aug. 1986, S. S. Porch, ex. Drosera sp. , 1 male (AUCI).
