Distribution: Pacific coast from Oregon to N California ( USA).
Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
Discussion: Subgenus Otisorex . S. vagrans complex ( Carraway, 1990). The small and morphologically distinct subspecies tenelliodus may well be a good species.
