Persian Gulf. Shahdadi & Sari (2011) from Mahshahr, Bushehr, Bandar-Lengeh, Bandar-Abbas, Qeshm Island in Iran; Jones (1986) as Euraphia sp. from Kuwait; Stubbings (1961) as Chthamalus malayensi s Pilsbry, 1916 from Kuwait ( Fig. 1 ).

Gulf of Oman. Shahdadi & Sari (2011) from Jask, Chabahar and Gwatr in Iran ( Fig. 1 ). General distribution and habitat. Western Indian Ocean; on various substrata such as mangrove trees, intertidal rocks and floating objects (Shahdadi & Sari 2011).
