Material examined. INFUECO stations: BC8 0710, 2 specimens, 87 m depth.

Habitat. Infralittoral sandy bottoms, endobiont of sponges, bottoms of maërl and Posidonia ( San Martín 2003) . Up to about 87 m depth in sandy-muddy bottoms.

Distribution. Atlantic-Mediterranean, with southern limit in the Canary Islands ( Alós & Campoy 1981; San Martín, 2003; Núñez et al. 2005).
