Tullgrenella yungae Galiano, 1970: 352 View in CoL , figs 19–24, 54, 59–60 (holotype, male, BOLIVIA, Santa Cruz [17°42’23.2”S 63°07’57.1”W], II.1964, Martinez, Apostoli & Birabén leg., (MACN-Ar 6251), examined); Pett, Rubio & Stolar, 2021: 933, figs 9I–J (description of female).

Revised diagnosis. Tullgrenella yungae is close to T. melanica , from which it differs by the projections on the tegulum with an angulate basal portion and triangular distal portion ( Figs 4C View FIGURE 4 , 29C View FIGURE 29 vs 27C); the openings of the final portion of the copulatory ducts in the spermathecae are located much further forward than in T. melanica ( Figs 7J View FIGURE 7 vs 7I, 30C vs 28C), so that the curvature of the ducts is located in an anterior-superior position of the spermathecae, not bordering them as found in T. melanica ( Figs 7J View FIGURE 7 vs 7I, 30C–D vs 28C–D).

Description. See Galiano (1970) for male and Pett et al. (2021) for female.

Natural history. This species is found in the Chacoan subregion and at the limit of the Brazilian subregion ( Figs 52A–B View FIGURE 52 ). It is sympatric with T. melanica in the Chacoan subregion ( Figs 52A–B View FIGURE 52 ). The variation in altitudinal occurrence of this species is 8–669 m a. s. l. ( Figs 52A–B View FIGURE 52 ).
