Lectotype (Mesfin Tadesse in Kew Bull. 48: 499. 1993): Herb. Linn. No. 975.12 ( LINN) .

Current name: Bidens bipinnata L. View in CoL ( Asteraceae ).

Note: Sherff (in Publ. Field Mus. Nat. Hist., Bot. Ser. 16: 367. 1937) noted the existence of 975.12 (LINN) but did not typify the name.
