Holotype: ♂. MEXICO: Jalisco, El Tuito, 27/VIII/1 986. Col. M. Sánchez. Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved; genitalia glued on a triangle. Additional notes: The current name of this species is Paraplateros moroni (Zaragoza-Caballero, 1999) (see Kazantzev, 2011).
