Australia, Burma, China, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand ( Stekolnikov 2021), Vietnam:Quảng Ninh (Hạ Long =Hon Gai)— Rattus tanezumi (= R.r.tikos ) ( Schluger et al. 1960c), Quảng Ninh (Hà Lâm)— Rattus tanezumi (= R. r. sladeni ) ( Grochovskaja 1967); Nghệ An, Phú Yên, Bình Thuận, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Đắk Lắk (Buôn Ma Thuột) ( Chau et al. 2007; Stekolnikov 2021). Hosts with no locality indicated: Hemidactylus frenatus Duméril & Bibron , Tupaia belangeri (= Tupaia glis ), Macaca mulatta (Zimmermann) , Viverricula indica Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire , Felis bengalensis (Kerr) , Menetes berdmorei , Bandicota indica , Leopoldamys edwardsi (= R. edwardsi ), Niviventer fulvescens (= R. fulvescens ), Rattus andamanensis (= R. koratensis ) ( Chau et al. 2007).
