Material examined. Vietnam: Thanh Hoa (Muong Lat, Phu Nhi commune, Ca Noi village)— Niviventer mekongis , Rattus losea (April 2019, 14 larvae).

Distribution. Burma, China, Thailand ( Stekolnikov 2021), Vietnam: Nghệ An (Phủ Quỳ)— Rattus tanezumi (= R. flavipectus), Niviventer tenaster (Thomas) (= R. niviventer lotipes ), Thanh Hóa — Rattus tanezumi (= R. flavipectus ) ( Schluger et al. 1960b); Quảng Nam (Cǻm Khê mountain)— Rattus sp. ( Hadi & Carney 1977); SƠn La (Sông Mã)— Rhizomys pruinosus , Rattus andamanensis (= R. koratensis ), Leopoldamys edwardsi (= R. edwardsi ) ( Chau et al. 2007; Stekolnikov 2021).

Remarks. Examined specimens differs from the original description of G. tenella ( Traub & Morrow 1955) by longer setae of scutum (AL = 35–41 vs. 33, PL = 45 vs. 36), and by having barbed seta on the ventral side of palpal tibia (B/b/NNb vs. B/b/NNN) in some specimens. Examined larvae can be identified as G. eurypunctata , but differ from this species by lesser number of scutal setae.
