Notes: —This species agrees with Mangoldia australiana View in CoL in most morphological and anatomical features, except that the ascomata are longer and have a more or less entire margin, and the ascospores are larger ( Archer 2005). The species differs from Thalloloma View in CoL s.str. ( Staiger 2002) in having non-pruinose, brown-black apothecial discs and a thin but distinct proper margin. At present, no genuine species of Thalloloma View in CoL is known from Australia ( Archer 2009).
