FEMALE (Specimens measured – Benin: 2, Ghana: 1, Kenya: 2, Rwanda: 8, Uganda: 1).

Dorsum ­ Dorsal shield mostly striate, except for central region which is reticulate, 273(248­288) long and 174(166­182) wide. Setae j1 20(18­22), j3 24(19­29), j4 19(14­ 22), j5 19(14­22), j6 18(16­21), J2 20(18­24), J5 7(5­8), z2 25(22­30), z4 28(22­34), z5 21(18­26), Z1 21(16­24), Z4 22(18­26), Z5 44(42­50), s4 32(27­37), S2 25(21­30), S4 24(19­29), S5 25(21­29), r3 22(18­27), R1 16(14­18). All setae smooth, except Z5 which are serrate.

Peritreme ­ Almost reaching level of z2.

Venter ­ All ventral shields smooth. Distances between ST1­ST3 53(48­56), ST2­ST2 62(58­67) and ST5­ST5 57(50­64). With 1 pair of metapodal shields. Ventrianal shield 87(78­94) long, 43(38­50) wide at ZV2 level and 51(45­58) wide at anus level. Seta JV1 inserted on anterior margin of ventrianal shield.

Chelicera ­ Movable digit 21 long, with 1 tooth; fixed digit 24 long, with 3 teeth.

Spermatheca ­ Calyx tubular, but constricted distally, 23(19­29) long; distinct atrium.

Legs ­ Macrosetae only discernible on tarsus of leg IV, sharp­tipped, 36(24­48) long.
