Material.— Three specimens from block I ( NRM Mo 192636–192638). Upper Miocene of the “shale quarry” within the Northern Cement Corporation quarry in Pangasinan province, Luzon, Philippines .
Dimensions (in mm).—NRM Mo 192636: H = 17.0, W = 9.8;
NRM Mo 192637: H = 16.0, W = 12.8; NRM Mo 192638: H = 22.8, W = 12.0.
Remarks.—These three specimens have the general shell outline and ornament of species of Acathodaphne, but with its protoconch morphology unknown, their assignment to this genus remain somewhat uncertain. The Miocene Pseudoinquisitor ? cf. P.? pulchra from the Yunabaru clay on Okinawa ( MacNeil 1960: pl. 5: 13) has fewer but more distinct spirals on the lower part of the whorls.
